There is a strong, unhealthy influence going on here. You may have to do as she asks, to give her peace of mind. If keeping silent about ECK assures family unity, then do it.

A natural rebellion occurs when some children become teens. The ways and beliefs of their elders seem old-fashioned, and such youth are overly sensitive about what others think of them.

A further consideration is that she may not be ready for the ECK way of life. Maybe she’ll take up the ECK path again after life gives her more experience.

In ECK, no one is ever lost. Just delayed.
