When you were a new parent, how did you stay patient and keep an open heart after a lack of sleep and with a child crying or misbehaving?
How did you balance your work, family, and personal/spiritual life?
Also, how did you stay in contact with your kid when you took on the role of Living ECK Master?
What would your best advice be to a single parent/dad?

Dear Oliver,
New parents often sleepwalk during the first couple of years after a child is born. It was the same with us. My mother-in-law helped at first, but then she left for home in another state. I’d come home tired after work. So my wife, after recovering from surgery, usually looked after our daughter. Our sleep was disrupted every night.
Our daughter was eight when I came into my spiritual position. We’d go out to explore streets we’d not seen before and otherwise had fun. I balanced my work, family, and spiritual life by singing HU a lot.
My advice to single parents is to HU often. It will help them over the rough spots in the road.
Singing HU is vital for the well-being of you and your family.
